Is ELF (makeup company) a drugstore brand?

I've heard ELF is a good makeup company, but other than that, I know nothing about it. Do they sell all kinds of makeup (blush, foundation, eyeshadow, etc.)? Are they a drugstore brand? Can I find ELF products at WalGreen's? How is ELF pronounced? Do you pronounce each letter E-L-F, or do you just say it like the Christmas elf? Does ELF sell brushes and stuff? Help? THANKSIs ELF (makeup company) a drugstore brand?
E.L.F. stands for Eyes, Lips, Face. Almost all of their products are $1.00 and i would consider it a drugstore brand. I believe you can find their products at Rite Aid and also at eyeslipsface.com . I like their products but some of them are not that great. For a review on some products please watch this video,

Hope this helped :)Is ELF (makeup company) a drugstore brand?
I actually work for E.L.F, so I'll be able to help. We sell all kinds of makeup except primers. Mostly everything on our website, http://www.eyeslipsface.com is just one dollar and is awesome quality. As you may know, E.L.F. stands for Eyes.Lips.Face and is not a drugstore brand. You can only buy ELF at the website above. ELF can be pronounced elf or E-L-F. ELF sells everything from brushes to train cases to minerals to makeup. Hope this helps! Check out our site!
honestly, i have a lip gloss that is ELF brand, and thats the only time i have ever seen that brand anywhere! i have no idea what other stuff they make besides lip gloss, and i think i got it at Nordstrom's Rack.... im as lost as you are!
Yes, these are comparable to low end drugstore brands. Look at the reviews on the products. Some are very good and some are not as good-

  • What to wear to my boyfriends company Christmas party at a country club? (Clothes and makeup please)?

I'm 21 and going to my boyfriends company Christmas party at a country club in two weeks.

He just graduated from law school and is working at a law firm. All the people at the party will be lawyers from the firm and legal assistants and whatnot. I will probably be the youngest person there and have never met any of these people before so I'm really nervous.

I'm wondering what's appropriate to wear to a Christmas party at a country club and how I should do my makeup.

Thank you! What to wear to my boyfriends company Christmas party at a country club? (Clothes and makeup please)?
My family and i regularly go to our Club. Everyday in the summer, sometimes for dinner the rest of the year, but ALL of the social events such as christmas parties.

Makeup: let out your natural complexion, no bronzer or pancake face. Light natural eyeliner and a moderate amount of mascara. A nice rosy cheek and a natural lip.

Wear a classic black dress and pearls. Nothing too racy. Always remember, your dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman, but loose enough to show you are a lady. What to wear to my boyfriends company Christmas party at a country club? (Clothes and makeup please)?
A lot depends on how formal the affair will be, so ask you boyfriend. But whatever it is, think demure and classic.

Ask your boyfriend how formal this affair is supposed to be. At a country club, I'd guess it would be elegant rather than formal.
    everything low key!

a simple dress, no daring neckline, but in a fun, tame color, like red or blue.

makeup, just natural, little or no color, eyeliner and mascara the focal point, but not too uch again!
not sure on the make-up since i don't know how you look like, but on the clothes wear something formal, like a nice dress or something, hair however you want
i would ask your boyfriend. if it's formal, go w/ a cocktail dress. make your makeup match your dress, but in a tasteful way. (smoky eyes?)
very professional, nothing verry out there, but still u want 2 stand out and make a good impression

    Whats a good makeup company?

i dont wear makeup and i want to a little when i get into later years of high school.

whats a good company or like a brand? thats not super expensive but that not also cheap either. good quality that DOESNT test their products on animals.

i would like to wear maybe like, eyeline, mascara, blush and eyeshadow.

    any good tips too?

thanks! (:Whats a good makeup company?
    Covergirl ; Revlon

Those are my favorite not to expensive brands =]

Uhm, Eyeliner looks good on the top and the bottom and mascara some people like to use different colors, but I'd stick with black mascara and brown or black eyeliner. Blush, I always no matter what color your skin go with a medium pink, unless your pale. If your pale go with a light pink. ! hope I can help you a little!Whats a good makeup company?
Stila. AMAZING brand. doesn't test on animals. It's pricy for some people but i really think that investing in makeup is really important.

    here's my list of products

    1. eyeliner-urban decays eye liner [about $18 but eyeliner lasts a long time]

    2. mascara- Covergirls but they test on animals, but it's the only cheap mascara that i like. I also like Stila's mascara

    3. Blush- NARS blush in torrid, amazing color

    4. eye shadow-either stila or urban decay

    5. base-bare minerals

    6. BATH PRODUCTS- lush! amazing brand! all organic, no animal testing, and amazing and unique products! [lushusa.com] you have to try a bath bomb!

and let me tell you, products that don't test on animals are extremely more than those that don't. Get good quality products! Your putting this stuff on your face! Do you want ';unknown substances'; on your face?
my faves are nars, chanel, and dior. but they might be a bit expensive but definitely worth it!

for a more affordable brand, try MAC. =)
i trust clinique for face makeup(foundation, concealer, blush....)

i like lancome mascara...u can use drug store brands too

eyeshadow...i use mac b/c they have pretty colors n very easy to go on n stay on
    I love M.A.C. %26amp; Lancome but they're kinda pricey :(
Clinique isn't really expensive, and it is awesome. They don't test on animals, and theyr lotions and make-up are hypoallergenic. They have everything you need, and more=) PS- The best mascera i have ever tried is maybelliene in the dark blue tube.
    almay make-up.

not too cheap, but not EXPENSIVE!
well i love all of physicans formula make up i am not sure about animal testing but it is really good for your skin

also for eye makeup try mac or just covergirl
    ULTRA They're soooo Awesome
    try E.L.F.

everything is pretty much a dollar, but it's not a rip-off.

they have all sorts of make-up, in all different shades and tones.

I'd like to start a company of selling makeup?

but where do I sell it.

remember Im young so I cant open real businessI'd like to start a company of selling makeup?
THERES NO way you need to start selling without a real business. are you a minor. if you are then use a older person may be relation, friend or soI'd like to start a company of selling makeup?
Not sure what you are asking. Why would anyone buy makeup from you? Will you have better pricing than stores? Where do you plan to buy this makeup at wholesale prices?

If you can't open a real business, then how would you legally sell anyhting?

Sorry, but this makes no sense.
I know how you feel. Having a buisness thats affordable is important as well as a support system to help you get started and good training. I sell Avon and it only cost me $10.00 to start and that was it. All my training material was mailed to me and I was assigned a leadership representative and a district manager to help me get started. I didnt have to purchase inventory and the products sell themselves and customers buy them becouse they are affordable ( as low as .99 for lotion). I recieve employment benefits and a chance to have a personal website where customers can buy my products. Visit www.avon.com and my site at www.crawldog.com/avonladie08/

I can sign you up if interested!!
You can start selling make up for Mary Kay like my daughter did. You can make good money plus earn those pretty pink cars. Good luck.

Does cherryculture (makeup company) put any sale before chrismtas? and if it does, how much discount ?

I'm not sure about that specific time of year, but they have sales about every few months. They ended one a couple weeks ago actually. Sign up for their email list and you'll get an email whenever they have a sale. Does cherryculture (makeup company) put any sale before chrismtas? and if it does, how much discount ?

mac, chanel, sephoraGirls answer this only.what kinds of makeup do you recomend.what companies and what brands?PLZ REPLY!?
I like Neutrogena Skin clearing make-up and AVON make-up. The are both affordable and have helped me w/ skin issues.
Foundation Pure Light from Dior, Concealer Skinflash Dior, mascara Maximeyes or Diorshow from Dior, MAC, Lancome and Chanel eye shadows, Clinique blush (I like Iced Lotus), lipsticks and glosses Yves Saint Laurent. And transparent pressed powder from Estee Lauder.
I use to work for a cosmetic's company so i have tried them all. It REALLY depends on what type of skin you have. I personally have oily skin and I LOVE Lancomes mousse makeup very light and leaves a flawless finish. Doesnt feel heavy on my face which i love. They also have the BEST liquid liner. MAC has GREAT eyeshadows with tons of pigment and good gloss, Clinique has great eyebrow pencils and powders. Those are just some of the must haves that I have found!
    I only use Merle Norman
for the eyes i like MAC....is really CUTE!!!

    for the face use Loreal....

    give it a try!
Well my favorite mu brand would most def. have to be MAC, their products are really good and they arent too expensive, I use all my makeup from them and they have never broken me out, and the colors last, I love the bruhes too! Another brand that is also good is smashbox, laura mercier, clinique, bare excentuals, chanel, estee lauder, lancome, and if you wanna go way up their you can try Guerlain's meteorites!
    covergirl is always good
Bare Minerals for foundation, it lasts all day and you can sleep on it. MAC, Nars and Make Up Forever for colors they have the most variety. MAC and Make Up Forever are what most make up artists use. Nars is what most super models use and they have the best bronzer. Urban Decay/Hard Candy is one of my favorites also because they create ';different'; products like their edible body shimmers, the lip glosses are the shiniest and they also have good color.
    i like the MAC eyeshadows;

    Clinique is good for basics...
i like using maybeilline and physicians formula. physicians formula can be kind of expensive but it's supposed to be good for your skin.
clinique is best, but is only available at certain stores, not at a general store. A great foundation is a mineral one, talc free. it doesnt clog. up pores, and isnt bad for your skin. a good general brand of make up is probably NYC or covergirl. hope i helped!
i myself like victoria secret and Clinique...victoria secret is cheaper than Clinique..
    LIPS:

I would use MAC from the Lipglass series for bright, fun, and original tints and

Stila for the softer, more girly and sweet shades (and also because of the cute container).

    CHEEKS:

Dior and Estee lauder blush. They have different colors to match any skintone and I trust that it wouldn't ruin my skin with breakouts and allergic reactions.

    FACE:

I don't normally use foundation but I have one compact from Chanel...it doesn't blend as nicely as I hoped it would. I would suggest the whipped creme one from Neutrogena.

    EYES

Eyeshadows from Lancome. The Quad colors are nice because they simply give me all the colors I want.

Eyeliners from Stila and Estee Lauder. They are soft and blend nicely. I wouldn't recogment eyeliner from Clinique. The colors don't come off easily and you sort of have to put pressure AND warm up the tip prior to application.

    I hope that helped =)
I basically only like MAC, but sometimes will get random things that just look fun from Sephora. . .Actually they sell a brand called Candy there which I also love for eyeshadow.
    I like physicians formula.
my faves are bon bons, l'oreal, and mybeline. there's also bonne bell, revlon and some more that i can't think of right on the dot. good luck!!!!!( my fave part of makeup shopping is the lipgloss).
if you're looking for something cheap and simplego to claires, if you live i the uk, Boots. But actual brand, Max Factor. It's really good, but expensive.
i recommend h.i.p, by loreal. they're make up is fierce!!!! u can pick it up at eckerd(drug store),cvs(drug store), target, and walmart.
My all time favorite is Clinique. Their products are of such good quality. I feel like I'm getting what I paid for. On the cheaper side, I've always liked Almay, which you can find in any drugstore. They also have pretty good quality makeup considering the price of it. Clinique is wonderful though.
    nyc
try going to www.Sephora.com and searching all the brands they sell. I like Laura Mercier for foundation and skin care but I like MAC, Lancome, and Juicy Couture for eye shadow, blush, ect

for inexpensive and good brands you can buy at drugstores:

    neutrogena for skin or lips

    almay for eyes or lips

    these brands are hypoallergenic

    and non-comodeogenic

neutrogena also contains salicylic acid to help acne
  • skin cancer
  • Whats your fave makeup company and why?

I just want to knowWhats your fave makeup company and why?
eyeslipsface.com is amazing for cost, and you get about the same quality as a lot of the more expensive drugstore brands. avon is great because they always have specials and the quality is REALLY high. l'oreal sells an amazing eye primer for only $7 and bonnebell has really great lip gloss.Whats your fave makeup company and why?
As cliche as it is: MAC! Their colors are really just fantastic. Also, though- minerals are good. Calypso Mineral Beauty on Etsy has some products that I've heard/seen really good things about. But it mostly depends on the makeup item- I love Clinique for their light moisturizing gel, MAC for their brushes/eye colors, etc.
Mac and Revlon. Mac because their foundation and press powder fix perfect with your skin complexion instead of going to a regular local Pharmacy or drug store and buying a foundation that's either to dark or too light. and their eyeshadows are very pigmented and their lipsticks and lip-glasses are AWESOME! Revlon has a few good lipsticks and nail polish that's almost as good as the ones from Mac.
My favorites are Lancome, and Chanel.

But you wanna know the funny thing? A lot of Expensive brands also have cheaper brands to appeal to a different audience. Like Lancome owns loreal, thats why they have the same brushes, and the vibrating mascara.

So i like all of them, but covergirl. Their face products make me break out, but they have *OK* mascara.
I have 2 favs for great quality and just wonderful make-up mac all the way from the brushes to foundations to eye shadows.

my 2nd is e.l.f. they are fab because of their prices and they are actually good products I NEVER break out from them and they have amazing brushes comparable to MAC
MAC is my favorite so far, they have the best quality products, but I am so excited to try out dior, chanel, nars, and bobbi brown.
i really like maybelline; and neutrogena. maybelline is more dramatic; and neutrogena is more natural.

but i also use physicians formula eyeshadow; its stays ona nd looks great!
Haha I'm totally obsessed with makeup (:

I love clinique especially but when I feel cheap I go for Rimmel London and Mac!
Covergirl, except their foundation, because it simply works for my skin. The mascara is awesome-- it never clunks together =]]
I LOVE mineral makeup! Doesn't clog pores. So pure you can sleep in it! Especially good for people with acne prone skin. But great for anyone!

    I use Bare Minerals.
I love Loreal, Revlon, Covergirl, and Chanel make up I know that they are expensive but I love it! Cause there are so many colors and well other products kinda suck =(
i love Dinair Airbrush Makeup..it makes my skin look flawless...ive been using it for 2 years now and i LOVE it...=)

    thin skin
