';All Made Up';

';Blush:)';

';Make-up by Missy';

';Beautybusters'; - haha idk

You could focus on drag queens and call it ';Missy4Sissies';.
Acad茅mie de beaut茅 (academy of beauty in french)

Missy Maquillage

Artiste de visage (face artist in french)

Electric Colors
How 'bout you use your Y!A nickname?

Is OFRA cosmetics a sister company to MAC makeup??? plz only answer if you are 100% positive of the info?

no. it is not.

How can I get my makeup company started?

I'm 11 (almost 12) and I'm going to start a real makeup company with my friend. I'm really smart (straight A's) and I'd like to start locally. I need the chemicals to make quality lip gloss and nail polish, the two things I think are easiest. I also want to have like a catalog to send to homes bimonthly once I get popular. I already know where to order containers to hold the makeup. No, I'm not some silly kid who thinks I can start a real company. I'm serious about this!

Where can I get chemicals to make nail polish and lip gloss?

I have other questions, like publishing catalogs, other makeup, and sellin in stores. But I don't think I'll need the info just yet.How can I get my makeup company started?
No offense, but I've just done a uni dissertation on the cosmetics industry (COTY, specifically). It's an incredibly expensive field to get into, very competitive, and even well-funded companies that get into the industry tend to fail pretty quickly. Not to mention that the middle of a recession is the worst time to try and start a company.

What I would recommend is to enjoy your youth now, go to college and then University, and do a degree in business management. Hopefully by then the economy will have cleared up a bit and you'll also have a much broader understanding of business and such.

P.s. even if you could get hold of the required chemicals and such to create cosmetics now, you'd have to go through a whole load of legal minefields and safety testing first, which can take years from submitting a product to actually getting it into production.

Just my two cents :)How can I get my makeup company started?
well you don't necessarily need chemicals to make make up. you can find recipes for makeup, and nowadays a lot of people like homemade, natural type things. also, to start off your business, make a website. give out adds to people in your school and tell your friends to tell people. you can offer free samples and stuff to get people to try it, and if they like it they'll buy it.

New makeup company please tell us what you think??????

please tell me what you think about the ideas i have so far, for eyeliner- the name is standout, becuase it makes your eyes pop, and the design is a pencil, but on it is a whole bunch of white apples but only one is pink and it stands out, and its really cute the design. eyeshadow-icing on the cake, becuase its kindof like the finishing touch on the eye, and just like a cake its the finishing touch there 2. eyelifter-mr lifter. eyeprimer-stay for dinner. concealer- the eraser, and its like the shape of an eraser, and the concealer somes of just like lipgloss does it slides up, but its pink and looks like an eraser.

And if you have any ideas like new makeup that we can include in our collection, and the design please let me know in the answer. and if you would buy something like that?????

New makeup company please tell us what you think??????
i like ur names and design of ur products.

its seems very fun and something that would sell

i would suggest tho changing the name or the eyeprimer from ';stay for dinner'; idk what about the name makes me think ppl wouldnt like it

maybe the name could be like ';Prime Time'; sounds catchy, it rhymes, and describes the products.

also i think for the eyeshadow that ';icing'; would be good

if u end up making anything that contains glitter such a shiny upper eye shadow or sparkly lipgloss u could call it glisten

make sure the ingredients u use in your makeup is longlasting, non harmful to skin and, here the big one, NOT PORE CLOGGING so it doesnt make ur face breakout

good luck!New makeup company please tell us what you think??????
I love the name Standout. It's catchy, and chic. Icing on the cake is a tad long, but I like your ideas and thoughts. I love the eyelifter idea. Eyeprimer, stay for dinner? Not my favorite, how about something like...hmm I don't know. Maybe keep it at that. I like the concealer idea, and the lipgloss sounds awesome. Hmm new ideas? Maybe you could think up a face powder. Shine free powder possibly. You'll think of something...Good luck and best wishes :0)

Hey! Thanks for your answer. I tried to e-mail you, but I guess you don't allow e-mails through yahoo answers. I think your company will do AWESOME! How can I help? I was very touched by your answer to my question. If you truly would like to help, all you have to do is go to http://www.marykay.com/tdavis75721 and purchase whatever you want. I don't care if it's just an eye shadow! I know times are rough all around so any little bit that anyone can spare to help the causes I'm raising for would be awesome. How can I help you in return?

  • What makeup company will hire a 13 year old as a sales rep?

I've found one (teenmineralmakeup.com) but I'm looking for other options. What makeup company will hire a 13 year old as a sales rep?
None of the major companies will hire you until you are 14. They need to see a Work Permit. When you turn 14, take your birth certificate to City Hall and get one. You can work the same day.

And you may decide to invent a job for yourself and teach others how to apply makeup. You could offer a ';Become a Star'; package to other teens where you apply makeup and then have a Photo Shoot where you give them 3 enlarged photos of their new look. You could charge $50 per session..What makeup company will hire a 13 year old as a sales rep?
I will give you a serious answer.

Come up with a good business model of PHONE SELLING.

Yes the age prejudice will come into effect if you meet anyone face to face, you want to sell Over the phone for companies.

Ask to be an affiliate commissions only sales rep.

You're bound to get accepted easily, since you'll be self employed and they don't need to worry about paying a salary and paperwork in this recession age.

In my studies of E-commerce (I'm an 18 year old Studying Computer studies with E-commerce and business) There have been times of Very young teens working ';semi - illegally'; where they have not given their age or even been honest about their age, however due to their Excellent selling performance, the company has had no choice, but to keep them.

Good luck, I wish you the very best !
A couple hundred years ago, when children (as young as 8 and I'm sure younger still) would work 8+ hours a day, and often times 40+ hours a week, they would often get injured by the machines they worked on. They had horrible working conditions and only a 15 minute break in some place. The heat was bad, the pay was terrible (not enough to support yourself) and they often lost fingers and limbs due to the nature of their work.

Working as a child laborer a couple hundred of years ago would often turn you into a cripple.

    Sounds fun doesn't it?

Don't worry about getting a job to soon. Your gonna be working for the rest of your life regardless.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the majority of 13 year olds in this country have no idea how to raise a family, nor would they want to. Times change, and we have to change with them.

No sense in wishing we were what we were before.
no one can hire you at the age of 13.

    is illegal!

and well yes before they would hire them but also they would take advantage of them...and im pretty sure they would still take advantage because 13 year olds dont have the mentality of an 18 year. for example if they dont wanna pay you all you hrs you cant really say anything because more likely they'll brain wash you...as for the 18 year old he/she would go crazy and probably even involve the law
    Nobody.

It's not about age prejudice, it's called protecting your childhood. Do you want to go back to the age where you were ploughing fields at age 8, too? And by the way, they got married at 13 because they died at 30.

Not to mention that I'd never let a 13 year old sell me anything but candy for high school band or something...
No. Legally, 13 is not old enough to work. Any company that would hire you is doing so illegally, and is a shady company that probably won't pay you. If you need money that bad, babysit or something.
Since this would be in violation of child labor laws, nobody can hire you. Anyone who says they can hire a 13 y.o. is lying, lawbreaking, or headed for such trouble you do not want to work for them.
Not likely...Child labor laws are a pain to deal with. Depends on what country you are in though I guess. Besides no offence but not sure who would but make-up from a 13 year old other than another pre-teen or early-teen.

New makeup company, need names and the design. please help.?

i came up with almost all the names, but i need names and a design for, face powder, and foundation, lipgloss, and nail polish, please tell me if you went to a store to buy something what would you be attracted to. and if you were to buy something thatyou would think is awsome what would the makeup pruduct be degigned as.New makeup company, need names and the design. please help.?
i look at the packaging then the ingrediants first not the name, maybe i'm different though. a few good names should come from what you want the product to make someone feel like. flawless for foundation, setlled for powder (cuz it sets the make-up) jewel for lipgloss (since a good shiney lip is shiney like a jewel) . try to think of what your line is geared to, if its a hip fresh type of thing or maybe older mature women.New makeup company, need names and the design. please help.?

Does anybody know what hypoallergenic occlusive makeup is and what company makes it?

Clinique Super City Block SPF 25 Oil-Free Daily Face Protector is an excellent, pure titanium dioxide鈥揵ased sunscreen in a very good, moisturizing base that includes a great mix of antioxidants and water-binding agents. This is best for someone with normal to dry skin because titanium dioxide can be too occlusive for those with oily or blemish-prone skin.Does anybody know what hypoallergenic occlusive makeup is and what company makes it?
