Search Google and find a supplier that will supply the type of kit you want. There is a wide difference between a hand kit and a full professioanl kit for certification.

inside or outside the plant, they don't allow their employees to wear makeup, deodorant, even powder. they have a very high tech way of detecting if you violated. they contacted me last time and they wanted me for a supervisor position in their plant and i really can't find a job now. however, their salary offer is also very low especially for a supervisor job.

I guess it depends on how desperately you need the work. If you can wait for something better, then I would suggest not applying there. Ideally you should feel good about yourself and the place you work. Limiting such basic things like using make up or lipstick seems odd. (Lipstick is a must for me!)And no deodorant? It must smell terrible there!
But if money is tight, you might need to work there at least until something less controlling comes along.

When I went to the mark. makeup rep info page, it said that you could sell if you were between the ages of 16 and up though it is steered more to teens. When I tried filling in my birthday, it didn't have my year (1992) which was strange because I'm 16. So I put 1991 instead. It said my application can't be processed so I called their help line, like it said to do, and I had to have a referral #. But I never got one. I have tried a few and it was okay. I try to use un-petroleum which doesn't make your lips addicted to it. Some lip balms will actually make your lips more dry after frequent use. I also swap between that and gloss - drink water too - helps dry lips, skin, etc.Does anybody use makeup from Savannah Bee Company?

Cream foundations are good because liquid ones are most likely to make your skin more oily. However mineral foundations would be the best because most of them have oil absorbing properties and they won't clog your pores. A good example would be Maybelline Mineral Power Powder Foundation. This is brilliant! I've used it and I also have oily skin and it gives a flawless matte finish.
To answer the next bit of your question most make up is suited for teens but a good brand is Collection2000. It's good quality and it's also cheap. Teenagers can also use Maybelline, Rimmel most make up that is light and natural looking because being a teenager I know the worst thing is having a face plastered in make up! I would suggest that you invest in a really nice eyeliner, mascara, lipglosses, and eyeshadows. That's all you really need no matter how old you are. My favorite makeup company is MAC but since you are a teenager you might want to go for something a bit cheaper. Maybelline is also really nice and their makeup is extremely affordable.

i have oily skin, i'm fourteen; i get breakouts a lot.
i would definatley reccomend Revlon Colorstay Foundation for combination/oily skin- it keeps my skin clear and radiant all day, and i don't have shiny skin, even after like nine hours.
i know this is not about makeup, but i use Garnier Pure 3 in 1 Wash, Scrub and Mask- it keeps blemishes at bay. hope it helps :)
there r many products available in the market but choose only those which are best suited indian skin texture if u r indian.also check if u r having any skin allergies coz in foundations u can find zinc or other chemicals which can harm u r skin.
for teens u should always go for mild makeup instead of heavy coz again cause skin problm. while doing makeup first clean u r face with nice oilfree facewash never use soaps......then go for oilfree moisture cream......remove excess with cotton tabs.......take steam on face near nose bridge it will help to get rid of black heads to some extent.....black head remover also available in cosmetic shops but first learn how to remove frm professional or else u will get hurt yourself......then apply nice herbal face pack......later wash with cold icy water.....
the above information is also imp coz u always get a clean face and make on regular basis to pamper ur self.....
now if u do make up u will definately get a clean fresh look..........when applying make up u should first apply oilfree foundation then put compact remove excess by brushing off .......then again put foundation and apply compact......this will hold for hours coz oily skin wont hold make up for long........for lipstick first make u r lips wide with lip pencil or if u already gifted with that just put light colour pencil apply lipstick of same colour then apply powder now again do the same to give second layer this will hold for hours .........also when u r going out always carry compact n lipgloss to keep the fresh look..... hope this information helps u...........
For a budget, I would recommend Biore skin-care. It's wonderful. If you are not afraid to invest in something else a bit more pricier, I would recommend Clinique. I love them both.
I use LA Minerals oil control powder and their Valley Girl mineral makeup. Works great and lasts me all day.

I am just starting out as a free lance makeup artist... im trying to think of something catchy for my ';name'; examply myspace.com/missysmakeup... thats what i use now but I want something better, catchy, trendy,creative but not tacky... get the idea??? How can I get my makeup company started?
I'm 11 (almost 12) and I'm going to start a real makeup company with my friend. I'm really smart (straight A's) and I'd like to start locally. I need the chemicals to make quality lip gloss and nail polish, the two things I think are easiest. I also want to have like a catalog to send to homes bimonthly once I get popular. I already know where to order containers to hold the makeup. No, I'm not some silly kid who thinks I can start a real company. I'm serious about this!

I have other questions, like publishing catalogs, other makeup, and sellin in stores. But I don't think I'll need the info just yet.How can I get my makeup company started?
No offense, but I've just done a uni dissertation on the cosmetics industry (COTY, specifically). It's an incredibly expensive field to get into, very competitive, and even well-funded companies that get into the industry tend to fail pretty quickly. Not to mention that the middle of a recession is the worst time to try and start a company.
What I would recommend is to enjoy your youth now, go to college and then University, and do a degree in business management. Hopefully by then the economy will have cleared up a bit and you'll also have a much broader understanding of business and such.
P.s. even if you could get hold of the required chemicals and such to create cosmetics now, you'd have to go through a whole load of legal minefields and safety testing first, which can take years from submitting a product to actually getting it into production.

well you don't necessarily need chemicals to make make up. you can find recipes for makeup, and nowadays a lot of people like homemade, natural type things. also, to start off your business, make a website. give out adds to people in your school and tell your friends to tell people. you can offer free samples and stuff to get people to try it, and if they like it they'll buy it.

please tell me what you think about the ideas i have so far, for eyeliner- the name is standout, becuase it makes your eyes pop, and the design is a pencil, but on it is a whole bunch of white apples but only one is pink and it stands out, and its really cute the design. eyeshadow-icing on the cake, becuase its kindof like the finishing touch on the eye, and just like a cake its the finishing touch there 2. eyelifter-mr lifter. eyeprimer-stay for dinner. concealer- the eraser, and its like the shape of an eraser, and the concealer somes of just like lipgloss does it slides up, but its pink and looks like an eraser.
And if you have any ideas like new makeup that we can include in our collection, and the design please let me know in the answer. and if you would buy something like that?????

if u end up making anything that contains glitter such a shiny upper eye shadow or sparkly lipgloss u could call it glisten
make sure the ingredients u use in your makeup is longlasting, non harmful to skin and, here the big one, NOT PORE CLOGGING so it doesnt make ur face breakout

None of the major companies will hire you until you are 14. They need to see a Work Permit. When you turn 14, take your birth certificate to City Hall and get one. You can work the same day.
And you may decide to invent a job for yourself and teach others how to apply makeup. You could offer a ';Become a Star'; package to other teens where you apply makeup and then have a Photo Shoot where you give them 3 enlarged photos of their new look. None of the major companies will hire you until you are 14. They need to see a Work Permit. When you turn 14, take your birth certificate to City Hall and get one. You can work the same day.
And you may decide to invent a job for yourself and teach others how to apply makeup. You could offer a ';Become a Star'; package to other teens where you apply makeup and then have a Photo Shoot where you give them 3 enlarged photos of their new look. Sometimes on Ebay you can buy ';Lots'; of Benefit. One Lot can have multiple eyeshadows, lipsticks, blushes, lotions, etc. etc. And depending on how many products are in the Lot you will probably end up spending $5-10 per item versus double that for the item purchased from Sephora or Benefit.com.

covergirl and avon cuz covergirl has really good powder and mascara and eyeshadow but I dont like their blush and avons eyeshadow and blushes have sparkles in them and itz really pretty and their lipgloss is like lipstick in glossy form so I looooooove botgh cuz i got this case from avon that has two different color gloss and to dull ones and two eyeshadows and one blush you can flip from eyes and blush to lips and it has a mirror oops i got off topic srry but those are the ones I like btw the avon is mark something from avon

AVON Super FULL Mascara and Super Shock Mascara and Uplifting Mascara. Helps the skimpy lashes look full and long.
I like a lighter softer more natural look in make up. I use Avon's mineral make up that is also very good. IMO it is much smoother and creamier than B.E. I used B.E. for years. Then when Avon came out with theirs...I tried it and loved it.
mark has a great line a make up brushes. Their kabuki brush is my favorite for all over coverage. I like their lip gloss ';hook ups'; that allow you to connect your two favorite lip glosses in one easy to access tube. Lauren Conrad has several favorites in the mark collection. Check them out.

If u have good type of skin (less blemishes/ acne/ scars to hide), go for Bare Minerals make up.. Its good.. and it gives u that natural looking.. Also, they are oil- free, so it wont clog ur pores (u shud be thinking of the safe products, otherwise, u'll be suffering from break out)
But if u have quite a lot of acne/ scars (so much things to hide), go for these:
Concealers %26amp; Foundation: Biotherm (Great coverage, Oil- free, non- comedogenic)

Makeup artists, how do you introduce yourself when you approach companies for jobs?
I keep asking other makeup artists, (who I found by surfing the net), directly how they approached HR in larger organisations (as opposed to targeting private individuals) to find work. So far I haven't been given a straight answer, because the MUA's I could find specialise in Bridal work only. All I need to know is the 'lingo and terminology / abbreviations' used by prospective employers in the industry when making an appointment for an interview with advertising and modelling agencies, television networks, film companies, wedding consultancies, etc, etc.
You need to know how much to charge the above mentioned companies if they ask, (I have no clue and the other MUA's I asked could not advise me because they specialise in bridal MU only). Obviously I have a fee for brides and other individuals, but these are companies. Certain companies expect you to work for free in these situations: Sometimes the MUA is willing to work with a model in exchange for images.
MUA’s will only do '''test shoots', (Work for free once, as an audition for paying work), if the photographer uses professional agency models.It can be difficult to find a MuA worth their salt who’s willing to operate on a TFCD, but employers will try anything to get your skills for free, how do I deal with that???
Most MuAs will charge by the day, with half-day and full-day rates that vary, so what are the average rates then?
Some MuA will work TFCD but charge “kit fees” - for replacing the makeup they use - How much is kit fees?
If they already have long term trusted MUA's which they use and don't need you what should my response be?

you pretty much need to live in a state like new york if you want to become well known . [that's where she became a make up artist]. or california. she first started off by doing drag queens make up and little stuff like that. then basically worked her way up. make lots of portfolios. and just be yourself. don't try to act fake or anything. show them you are serious about it. rates are always different, it depends on what you are doing. if anyone rejects you, don't stop. just because someone rejects you doesn't mean you are bad at it. successful people have been rejected all the time, but they don't give up.

There is a blush made by ';your name cosmetics'; that i am obsessed with. Its called #12 and is an orange- pink that works fabulously on me. Inglot is a Polish makeup company that has just started opening stores in North America.
*First what color are you using? Because the shadows have very strong pigments in them and if they have hues of red it may be staining your skin a bit.
*Secondly are your eyes irritated? Because if they are irritated, burn, or are puffy you are allergic to the product.
*Sometimes people are allergic and have reactions to the colors in the pigments.
*INGLOT has very strong pigments. My suggestion would be to get a primer and apply that first before your shadow. A primer will set a barrier between your skin and the shadow so it won't stain.
*You should also look on the packaging that it came in to check the ingrediants in the package.
*If you are really having great difficulties then you should return to the store to ask more about the products.

I have absolutely no idea what I would call it, but I would have every kind of makeup there is. I would use mostly natural ingredients, though, and those that are non acnegenic and won't clog pores. I would create all types and shades of foundation and include pictures and instructions that show the buyer how to put the products on in a way that accentuates their features and makes them look the best. I would just want to make everyone realize how beautiful they are and that makeup should cover your flaws and enhance your beauty and not cover up people's faces for no reason.Poll: if u had your own makeup company what products would u have??

I agree that cosmetics are completely unregulated by the FDA( just google/READ about makeup %26amp; FDA guidelines about lack of regulation). Logically looking at this, ELF is able to sell its product at such low $.. it's probable that there are toxins in it as well but by what dosage? we don't know yet! Report Abuse

I'm not really sure about the chemicals in ELF makeup, though I'm 99% sure they are not organic so they have at least some chemicals in there. But I do know they do not test on animals.
Unfortunately it appears that they do. It is so frustrating that these toxins are included in make up. Bare Minerals!! I love it. I been using it for 2 years and Im happy with it. Its great for my skin since I have breakouts here and there. The coverage is awesome. I purchase my makeup from a Ulta store because I tried it there( I did a make over for prom and graduation with that makeup). Finally got the makeup after grad for one of my gifts =) . If you have one near you, go in and talk to one of the associates and see if they will help find your color that matches and ask if they can apply the foundation on you. Mineral makeup is best, it's very natural, has awesome wear-ability, is non-cosmogenic, and is oil free, but please think twice before using Bare Minerals (aka Bare Escentuals) OR Sheer Cover! These products contain bismuth which is NOT a healthy mineral and NOT at all recommended for sensitive skin, it can aggrivate skin promlems further! It resembles arsenic!!! I used this makeup not knowing this fact and it caused me a very bad allergic reaction including intense itch, large blotchy patches of redness, and break outs! After that i looked into LAMinerals but didn't go with them since they put silk powder (killing the animals that make the silk) and other weird ingredients like magnesium, and calcium into their makeup... Common sense told me the more ingredients, the higher the risk of blocked pores, break outs, and allergic reactions...
I then found this makeup and have been using it for 2 years now! It's wonderful! They have 17 foundation colors (way more then the competitors!) and 5 different finishing powders, choose the one for you skin type! Plus they have over 45 eye shadows! It really works well! Plus they are also MUCH cheaper then the 'big' name companies, and they're cruelty free and totally VEGAN (animal by-product free)!

I used to keep my make up to strictly eye make up, because i have pretty good skin, and i don't like how make up feels on my skin, but i just recently bought Bare minerals and i love it. for 4 months. I'm taking college courses and its hard to find a job that wants to work around my schedule.

this may sound wrong but you could just start working there to get some money and while you are working there just try and find another job. You will get experience with this job and it my be easier to find another one.

but i don't think you should really leave it up to some random people to make life choices.. just weigh up the good and the bad and see how strongly you feel toward animal testing

Back to the question, I think if you were to take the job you would be trading in your morals and beliefs for money which is pretty low in my opinion.
Stick with your morals and forget that job. You don't want to work for something that makes you feel uncomfortable or unhappy. Yes getting a job can be difficult but sticking by what you believe in is important to you and others. It's a life test so to speak - there will be other job opportunities.
the products are tested on animals so that they're SAFE for use on humans ... so people won't get hurt. that's an ok thing because it is the purpose of the animal to benefit people's lives. the animals aren't tortured, despite what you may have read.
get the job, and you may get a better understanding of this entire thing. it's ok to learn something and get paid at the same time.
